INTERNATIONAL Master Anuj Shrivatri of Madhya Pradesh won the 2nd Nagpur One Day FIDE Rapid Rating Chess Tournament organised by Kalpana Prakash Welfare Foundation in association with GH Raisoni Sport and Cultural Foundation at GH Raisoni Institute of Information and Technology, Shraddha Park, Wadi Hingna Link Road. Shrivatri won all games with hundred per cent score of nine from nine rounds to become richer by Rs 50000 and a glittering trophy. The event was recognised by Chess Association Nagpur, Maharashtra Chess Association, AICF and FIDE. IM Aditya Dhingra of Haryana, CM Arush Chitre of Nagpur and IM Anwesh Updahyaya of Odisha all scored 8 points and were placed from 2nd to 4th on the basis of tiebreak scores.
 
IM Mohammad Nubeirshah Sheikh scored 7.5 points to achieve 5th position. Prizes were distributed at the hands of chief guest BJP leader Jaiprakash Gupta, guests of honour Shashishekhar Sinha, Superintendent, Central GST, Nagpur and Rahul Naidu, MD, Prathamam Manpower Services Pvt Ltd & Executive Member Chess Association Nagpur. Amit Gandhare, Director (PR), Raisoni Group presided over the Function. Bhushan Shriwas, Organising Secretary & Secretary of Kalpana Prakash Welfare Foundation and IA Ajinkya Pingale, Chief Arbiter were prominently present on the occasion. The programme was conducted by SS Soman who also proposed a vote of thanks.
