The Medical Hospital administration has taken few concrete decisions in a recently held meeting to ensure security arrangements in the campus
AMID the firestorm of outrage
and concern over the safety of
female medical professionals
following Kolkata Rape and
Murder incident, the administration of Netaji Subhash
Chandra Bose Medical Hospital
(NSCBMH) has further tightened it’s security arrangements.
Now the attendants of
patients admitted in the hospital will get entry in the premise only after showing red
card. The female guards will
remain present at the OPD to
the wards 24X7, completely
blocking the entry of outsiders
in the building.
During a recently held meeting, the Medical Hospital
administration has taken few
concrete decisions to ensure
security arrangements in the
campus.
As per decisions, now only
one attendant will be allowed
with the patient inside the
wards. A red card will be issued
to the attendant so that he/she
can smoothly move in and outside the wards. This card will
be used from 7 pm to 7 am.
Apart from this female guards
will be present round the clock
in the female wards.
Simultaneously, the Medical
College administration has also
enhanced security parameters
for the students staying at
Medical hostel. Now these students will not be allowed to go
outside the campus during
night hours. In case of emergency, they need to seek permission from their warden. To
