enter the quarter-finals of the
District Sports Office organised Under-14 inter-school
football tournament at
Divisional Sports Complex
ground in Mankapur on
Tuesday.
While Tiwari put St John’s
ahead in the 3rd minute with
a long range shot from top of
the D, Samundre doubled the
lead three minutes later. The
score remained unchanged at
the final whistle.
In another pre-quarterfinal
match, Lokesh Monak’s lone
strike in the 17th minute helped
Bharti Krishna Vidya Vihar pip
Narayana Vidyalayam 1-0.
St Michael’s stunned Centre
Point School, Dabha by a solitary goal from Himanshu
Dhurve in the 9th minute while
SFS, Sadar got the better of
MSB Educational Institute 1-0
with Samuel Francis scoring
the winner in the 18th minute.
St Vincent Pallotti had to
work out hard to beat Bhavan’s
Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya
Mandir, Srikrishna Nagar 3-2
via tie-breaker.

Pallotti while Araya B and
Shiraz A scored for Bhavan’s.
