The Wholesale Grain and Seeds Merchants Assn elect new body THE general election of the 78 year-old business association and one of the largest of Central India -- The Wholesale Grain and Seeds Merchants Association was conducted on August 28, 2024 at Laxmibai Satsang Sabhagriha.

 

The members of the association unanimously elected Santosh Kumar Agarwal as the President of The Wholesale Grain and Seeds Merchants Association and Pratap Motwani as its Secretary. As a major achievement, Santosh Kumar Agarwal has been elected as President for 38 consecutive years and Pratap Motwani as Secretary for last 35 years continuously. Pawan Kumar Poddhar was elected unanimously for the post of Vice President; Pradeep Kumar Lahoti, Joint Secretary (two), and Subhash Agarwal and Madhusudan Agarwal were elected unopposed for the post of President and Treasurer, respectively. Election officer was Ramavatar Hurkat. Joint Secretary’s Pradeep Kumar Lahoti and Subhash Aggarwal said that the names of 15 executive members will be announced later.
