PRINCIPAL Chief Commissioner of IncomeTax Parminder recently observed that now a days I-T department possesses a lot of information about money transactions due to data analysis and increased use of artificial intelligence. “The department is also having real time information about various types of transactions done by business houses,” She further praised the work of chartered accountants and urged them to be alert and continue their support in the process of nation building.

 

Parminder was interacting with a delegation of ICAI Nagpur Branch (WIRC) led by Chairman CA Akshay V Gulhane. CA Akshay V Gulhane further assured CCIT that chartered accountants will continue to work in coordination with the department. CA Dinesh Rathi - Vice Chairman of the branch, and CA Swaroopa Wazalwar – Secretary, were also present.
