Jabalpur Regional Office, Employees Provident Fund Organisation makes constant efforts to issue pension to members of Employees’ Pension Scheme 1995 on the day of superannuation under ‘Prayas’ Scheme of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation.

Following the same, Rakesh Sahrawat, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, presented Pension Payment Orders (PPOs) to the pension members who retired on completion of 58 years of age from various institutions in July 2024 during a function organized in the office.

 

 

Sahrawat, Regional PF Commissioner-I handed over pension payment orders to the pension members who retired from KEC International, Krishi Mahavidyalaya, Rani Durgavati University and Narmada Gelatins Limited.

He further informed that 149 PPOs have been issued by the office under ‘Prayas’ in the current financial year, out of which 64 PPOs were issued during July while 744 PPOs were issued under this scheme since April 2022 till date. This number is more than half of the total PPOs issued jointly in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh zone under ‘Prayas’. He also informed that in lack of cooperation from the employers, all the eligible pension members are not able to get the scheme’s benefit and after retirement they have to face many difficulties in settling the pension case.

 

 

Sehrawat appealed the employers to complete the KYC of all the employees working in their respective organizations to ensure smooth settling of cases related to PF and pension payment.

He also requested the members of Employees Pension Scheme, 1995 to open their account in State Bank of India or Punjab National for pension payment. One can also contact the Public Relations Officer through contact number 0761-2640680 for further details.

Ashish Kumar, Regional PF Commissioner-II appealed pensioners to submit the digital life certificate after the completion of one year period. Kanta Devi Motwani appealed all the members to complete their e-nomination process.
