Team Surgery from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College made Madhya Pradesh proud in the most prestigious surgical gathering of the world. The team from NSCBMC proved its mettle at the international platform as their research studies received widespread acclaim at International Surgical Week, World’s Congress of Surgery at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia between August 25 and 29, 2024.
During the Week, the team’s efforts were recognised for their innovative approach and significant impact on healthcare.
The work has directly influenced how they address the needs of impoverished patients, showcasing practical solutions that improves their access to essential medical services for breast cancer and thyroid.
By highlighting effective strategies and demonstrating tangible benefits, research has not only garnered praise from peers but also paved way for better healthcare policies and practices that prioritise welfare of underprivileged communities.
This recognition underscored research’s role in driving positive change and improving lives of those who
need it most. The team’s most acclaimed research was on Low Cost Breast Cancer Care which gives same standard of care as America or Europe but costing 1/100th times less. Team Surgery achieves various milestones under the leadership of Professor Pawan Agarwal and Dean NSCB Medical College Professor Navneet Saxena.
