AVINASH Pandey, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner of Customs in Inland Container Depot (ICD) MIHAN and Air Cargo Complex (ACC) Nagpur International Airport under Nagpur Customs has been transferred to Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) Ludhiana. The transfer order was issued by Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), Department of Revenue, Government of India, recently.

 

Avinash Pandey is an IRS officer of 2019 batch who has joined in the Central GST and Excise Zone in Nagpur in December 2021. Pandey was transferred to ICD MIHAN and ACC Nagpur in June 2023, which he has been heading till now. He will be joining as Deputy Director in DGGI Ludhiana Zonal Unit where he will responsible for collection, dissemination of intelligence relating to evasion of Central Excise Duty, Service Tax and GST and unearthing related modus operandi of evasion, in Ludhiana Zonal Unit.
