Under-15 boys emerged
champions of the inter-school
hockey tournament organised
by District Sports Office at
Police ground.
In the Rural final, Bhavan’s
defeated formidable Ira
International by a solitary goal
to emerge district champions.
The all-important goal was
scored by Dhruv Rathi in the
10th minute of play.
Earlier in the tournament,
Bhanv’s beat School of Scholars
by three goals to nil.
Rathi scored a brace in the
7th and 15th minute while
Aditya Chauhan scored a goal
in the 16th minute of play.
Ira International, on the other hand registered twin wins to
make it to the finals.
They first beat Delhi Public
School 2-0 with Vedant and
Mohit scoring goals in 17th and
20th minute respectively.
In the semis, Ira beat Gyan
Vidya Mandir 2-0. Vetant and
Mohit once again found their
names in scoresheet.

Ira International School girls
emerged champions of the
Under-17 age category after
they defeated School of
Scholars 2-0 in the final. Maitra
Thakre (5th) and Parisha
Nikhade (13th) were the goal
getters. In the semis, Ira beat
Delhi Public School 3-0 with
Yashasvi Kubde (3rd), Maitra
(7th) and PS Ahulja (15th) scoring the goals. SoS beat Bright
Scholars through the goal from
Tanishka.
SoS boys win
U-17 title
School of Scholars boys liftedthe Unde-17 title with a 3-0 winover Delhi Public School viatie-breaker. SoS shot into leadin 9th minute through ArnavKohli but DPS levelled throughRohit Ramteke in the 15thminute. In the shoot-out,Tanishk, Smit Moon andAtharva Thool scored for SoSwhile none from DPS managedto score.
