THE Tejaswini Mahila Manch recentlyconducteda treeplantationdriveatFootballGround, Marar Toli, Ram Nagar. During this drive, 25 trees were planted. Theprogrammewascarried out under the guidance of Babasaheb Deshpande, the ‘Tree Man of Nagpur’. Vilasini Nayar, President, Nagpur Mahila Club, presided over the gathering. On this occasion, Deendayal Tembhekar, Health Officer, Dharampeth Zone; Sanjay Bangale, former corporator; along with other dignitaries were present. Members of the Tejaswini Mahila Manch and other citizens planted saplings on the football ground. The nearby residents also pledged that they would take care of the saplings.
