Japan will become country partner of Global Investors Summit: CM Dr Yadav

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav announced significant plans and initiatives during a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, highlighting key events and policies for the State. The next Cabinet meeting, dedicated to the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar, will be held on January 24 in Maheshwar. The Chief Minister also directed exemptions in motor vehicle taxes for the Gwalior Fair and Vikramotsav in Ujjain. Dr Yadav extended his congratulations to the Swami Vivekanand Yuva Shakti Mission, acknowledging its alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on empowering youth, farmers, women, and the poor. He emphasised the forthcoming implementation of the Garib Kalyan Mission, aimed at uplifting the underprivileged sections of society. Additionally, the Chief Minister revealed that the next Regional Industry Conclave will be held in Shahdol to boost industrial activities and attract investment. He also informed that Japan will be the country partner for the upcoming Global Investor Summit in Bhopal on February 24-25. To further bolster investment opportunities, Dr Yadav announced a planned visit to Japan from January 27 to February 1.
 
In terms of investment policies, Dr Yadav disclosed that 11 departments have been instructed to finalise their investment policies for the Global Investor Summit. Currently, 21 policies are under development, including the Madhya Pradesh Investment Promotion Policy 2025, MP Logistics Policy, and Madhya Pradesh Export Promotion and ODOP Policy 2025. Additionally, the MSME Department is working on the MSME Development Policy 2025, MP Startup Policy, and Land Development Allotment Policy for MSMEs. Special focus will also be given to renewable energy with the MP Pump Hydrostorage Policy 2025, Biofuel Promotion Policy 2025, and MP Urban Gas Distribution Policy 2024. Dr Yadav also highlighted policies designed to accelerate technological growth, including the MP Semiconductor Policy-2025, MP Drone Promotion Policy-2025, and the MP Global Capability Center Policy-2025.
 
These initiatives will facilitate decision-making for investments during the summit. The Chief Minister also mentioned the MP Aviation Policy-2025 and the Madhya Pradesh Tree Plantation Policy-2025, along with policies for medical colleges under Public Health, and tourism initiatives like the Madhya Pradesh Film Tourism Policy-2025. All these policies are being developed with the goal of making investment decisions more efficient and rapid during the upcoming Global Investor Summit.
