People get medical benefits at Dai Didi Clinic

 

The Dai-Didi Clinic run by Chief Minister Slum Health Scheme in areas of (BMC) provides treatment facilities to women of all age group and prove a boon to female residents of the areas. In this clinic, medical team provides free of cost treatment of 18 ailments to woman population of the areas and also distribute free medicines to them. This clinic ‘Dai-Didi’ provides blood test and other test facilities and now female patients do not need to go private diagnostic labs for undergoing tests and pay huge charges to management of labs. Through phone, patients get full details of their blood or other medical test which undergo in the clinic.

 

The Commissioner of BMC, Rajiv Kumar Pandey did surprise inspection to these clinics. He also instructed local corporators, representatives and staffs of Dai-Didi Clinic to do their job properly. They should also promote and aware people about this clinic so that they will get free medical treatment and medicines and do not need to pay huge money in getting medical treatment in private healthcare services. In Kosa Nagar Ward Commissioner also brought one senior citizen to the clinic for treatment of her ailment. Area Project Manager, Ishaan Sharma informed that through phone, patients and her family member will get proper information about quantities of medicines and they will check, patient is getting sufficient amounts of medicines or not. At present, clinic is getting sufficient quantities of medicine and they are distributing to the patients. In emergency too, elder man has also been allowed to collect medicines of their disease from this clinic. For hypertension and diabetics, this clinic is distributing medicines to women as well as men with old-age and physically challenged ones. Commissioner directed that; clinic staff should do communication with residents of the areas so that they will get health benefits from this clinic.
