Last fifteen days left for paddy procurement 
 
Collector Richa Prakash Chaudhary said that as per the instructions of the government, paddy procurement has to be done by January 31. Fifteen days are left for paddy procurement, in these last days, the officers should keep a strict watch to ensure that paddy is not sold fraudulently in the procurement centres. She has directed the concerned SDM to take immediate action in case of recycling and fraudulent sale of paddy. During the review meeting, the Collector took information about the verification of procurement centres.
 
The Food Inspector informed that the physical verification of paddy stock of 102 procurement centres of the district is being done by the appointed officers. The verification work of 78 paddy procurement centres has been completed. Difference has been found in the stock of 6 procurement centres namely Borigarka, Bori, Hirri, Temri, Dania and Pahanda. Action has been proposed on this as per rules. Collector Chaudhary has instructed investigation teams to do stock verification carefully. Collector said that as per the instructions of the government, action has to be taken as per rules against the officer and employee who is absent from the office for a long time. The Collector instructed the officers to provide information about the departmental action taken so far against the officer and employee who is absent from the department for a long time. ADM Arvind Ekka, Divisional Forest Officer Chandrashekhar Pardeshi, Assistant Collector M Bhargava, Additional Collector Mukesh Raote, Joint Collector Harvansh Singh Miri, all SDMs, District CEO and all district head officers of the department were present in the meeting.
