Reels Turn Tragic: Two young men killed, one injured in car accident

 

 

In a tragic incident occurred at Kolar, two young men lost their lives and one was critically injured while making social media reels late Wednesday night. The accident took place in the Inayatpur canal area of the Kolar police station jurisdiction. According to the police, around 11:30 pm, Palash Gayakwad (25), Vineet (22), and Piyush Gajbhye (24) were driving in a car while making videos.

 

The car was at a high speed and the driver lost control over the steering, falling into the Inayatpur canal. Palash and Vineet died on the spot while Piyush sustained severe injuries. Police revealed that Palash and Vineet worked in the Public Works Department (PWD) and Piyush is a software engineer in a private company. Family members stated that Vineet was driving the car at the time of the accident. After the car fell into the canal, the bodies of Palash and Vineet were retrieved by breaking the car windows. Both bodies were sent to Hamidia Hospital for post-mortem while Piyush was taken to the hospital for treatment. According to doctors, his condition is now stable. The incident occurred while the three friends were making videos inside the moving car. Eyewitnesses claimed that if the police had arrived earlier, the two young men’s lives could have been saved. The police are yet to fully record Piyush’s statement, and they are conducting further investigations based on the available information.
