Bawankule gets dual responsibilities of Nagpur and Amravati districts
The much-awaited list of Guardian Ministers in Maharashtra is out. In a late night development, Maharashtra Government, as per the orders by Governor, released the list of Guardian Ministers.
As anticipated, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has been appointed as Guardian Minister of Gadchiroli while Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Revenue Minister, will look after Nagpur and Amravati districts. Bawankule, while talking to mediapersons, had predicted that names of the Guardian Ministers would be announced this week.
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has been given the responsibility of the Guardian Ministership of Pune
and Beed.
The issue of the Guardian Ministership was in discussion for the past several weeks. Notably, Minister Dhananjay Munde’s name has been excluded from the list of Guardian Ministers.
The Guardian Ministership of Mumbai City and Thane will be with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Mushrif, Yavatmal - Sanjay Rathod, Chandrapur - Ashok Uike, Bhandara - Sanjay Savkare, Buldhana - Makarand Jadhav, Akola - Akash Phundkar, Gondia - Babasaheb Patil, Wardha - Pankaj Bhoyar.
Ashish Jaiswal is Joint Guardian Minister of Gadchiroli.
