A Nagpur girl was killed after she fell into a ditch while paragliding in Goa. She had travelled to Goa with friends to celebrate the New Year when the accident occurred. Her body is being brought to Nagpur by air. According to police, Shivani Ishwar Duble (27), a resident of Vishwakarma Nagar, died in the incident. Her mother is a retired nurse from Super Specialty Hospital. It is reported that Shivani went to Goa with her friends to celebrate New Year. On January 18, while enjoying paragliding, the rope snapped which caused Shivani to fall from a height of about 100 feet into a ditch. Seriously injured Shivaji died in the accident. Goa police have recovered Shivani’s body and after completing the necessary procedures, her remains are being transported to Nagpur. The body is being flown from Goa to Nagpur via Hyderabad by a cargo plane. Shivani’s father, Ishwar Dable, has travelled to Goa. He is expected to arrive in Nagpur on Tuesday morning. Shivani is survived by a younger sister.
