The Association for Industrial Development (AID) will be organising Advantage Vidarbha an ‘Industrial Development Forum’ from February 7 to 9 at the campus ground of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj University, Amravati Road, Nagpur. This was revealed by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari while informing the media in a press conference on Friday. On the occasion, Ramtek MP Shyamkumar Barve, MLA Krishna Khopde, Ashish Kale, President of AID and other dignitaries were also present.
The event will be attended by the chief guest Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Thai Consul-General in Mumbai Donawit Poolsawat, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, Industry Minister Uday Samant, Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Ashish Shelar, IT Minister of Maharashtra Government, Textiles Minister Sanjay Savkare,
Minister of State for Finance Ashish Jaiswal, Minister of State for Home (Rural) and Mines Pankaj Bhoyar, Former Indian Army

This industrial exhibition will include various products and more than 300 stalls of which 100 will be reserved for micro and small enterprises. Other stalls include Defence Public Enterprises, Ministry of Steel and Mines, Airports Authority of India, SEBI, Central Board of Direct Taxes, GST Department, Department of Posts, Government e-Marketplace (GEM), Product categories in various sectors from Government departments such as educational institutions, machinery and services will be on display. About 170 stalls have already been booked and businesses are encouraged to book their stalls as soon
as possible, he added.
