The second phase of inter-departmental annual sports competition at the headquarters of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MP Transco) concluded in the courtyard of Jyoti Club Rampur, on Friday. In his address at the conclusion of this two-day competition, MP Transco MD Sunil Tiwari said that the purpose of organizing these games is not to create players or teams but to create a working team of MP Transco in which leadership quality is developed, so that new energy and enthusiasm can be infused among employees so that they can perform their duties, office tasks with the passion and sporting spirit. He said that for the first time, it was a pleasant experience to see a large number of women members of the employees’ families participating in this competition. Hursh and Ghosh pair won badminton title.

In the final, with excellent service and smashes at every corner of the court, this pair won the double final title of badminton event, main attraction , to defeating the Devashish Chakraborty and VK Parwar. In table tennis, Tarvez Chaudhary won the title by defeating Hursh Srivastava. Organiser of the competition S C Ghosh told that in this two-day competition, nearly 100 MP Transco employees and their families participated and made it a success. Iqbal Khan and Suresh Trivedi had remarkable contribution in making the competition successful.
