Art Exhibition ‘SRIJANIKA’ was organised in Army Public School No 2 on Saturday. Chief guest on the occasion was Colonel Suram Singh, Deputy Commandant, JAK RIF RC, the Vice Chairman of APS No2 along with Monika Jamwal officiating chairperson FWO JAK RIF RC. In accordance with its tradition, theme this year was ‘Srijanika’ which symbolises creativity and exemplifying talent in the best. The vivacious spectrum of student’s creativity was inaugurated by the chief guest with lighting of the lamp. This extravaganza showcased an exotic and colourful work done by students. The primary wing showcased their talent by utilising best out of waste like matchstick, ear buds buttons, creating beautiful articles.
 
The audience was left spellbound by the hidden talent of the young artists. Senior section of the school showed their artistic caliber through illuminating lamps made by disposable cups, lipan art of Gujarat, jute art, gond art, along with fabric painting art. The magnificent talent of art in children was groomed by Art and Craft incharge of the School Sanjeet Kaur and her team. Overall, Art and Craft exhibition at APS No 2 was a grand success fostering artistic expression and creativity amongst students. The event not only highlighted our young artists but also reinforced the significance of art in holistic education.
