Fun and non-stop frolic marked ‘The Hitavada Twinkle Club’s Maha Mela’ organised in association with Dinshaw’s at Dinanath High School ground, Dhantoli on January 26. Kids accompanied by their parents indulged in various fun activities throughout the day.
Jumping castles, merry-go-rounds, Ferris wheels and puppet shows were some of the many activities that kids indulged in. A food court with astronomical varieties of tasty food was the attraction with large amounts of crowd gravitating towards it. And of course, what is a fair without exciting prizes? Numerous exciting gifts were won by the little ones at several stalls and contests that ran throughout the evening. The stalls included reputed brands like Navneet Publications, SBI Life Insurance, LIC, Faber Castle and many more.
A musical bonanza featuring Pratik Jain Music got the kids and their parents mesmerised and singing along while, the dance enthusiasts put their moves on display on the stage.
A session on cyber security was held by expert, Sunil Sadashivan.
‘The Hitavada’ also spoke with some of the parents and their kids at the Maha Mela, a very lovely mother-daughter duo Shabnam Mahto with Shanaya spoke about their experience. “I used to be a Twinkle Club Member when I was young and attended all the Maha Melas with my mother, now I have come here with my daughter to show her the Mela and reminisce in the memories of my childhood.”
Another such beautiful story was shared by an attendee, Ashwini Lotha, Architect; she visited the Mela with her family and niece.
She shared “I have attended almost all the Twinkle Club Melas and used to read all the Twinkle Star issues, which made me into the writer I am today.
I consider ‘The Hitavada’ my second home and write for the columns devotedly and now, I am here with my niece to let her experience the fun.”
