A 35-member team of Ahir folk dance artists from Kadam Sanstha Jabalpur gave their excellent performance at Kartavya Path during main parade of Republic Day celebration in New Delhi. A day before the Republic Day, 5,500 folk artists performed folk dance together and got their name registered in the Guinness Book of World Records. As this year the Government of India has made world record by showcasing 54 glorious folk culture tradition of India through ‘Jayati Jai Mam Bharatam 2025’.
 
In which, the 35-member team of Kadam Sanstha, presented Ahir folk dance family of Madhya Pradesh as well as Sanskardhani and ensured its place for the special event in Delhi. It may be noted that in the special presence of the President of India, Draupadi Murmu, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other political leaders and eminent guests, the artists presented the folk culture of Madhya Pradesh, which was appreciated by all. The Union Cultural Minister, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat gave his special wishes to the folk artists. The artists, under the direction of Krishna Kant Dixit Raja, co-direction of Surendra Chaudhary, Praveen Vinodiya, Akash Chaurasia, Dharmendra Gautam, Ajay Rana, Rohit Sharma, Shubham Rajak, Kishore Ben, Priyansh Dewan, presented their attractive folk dance of Madhya Pradesh at Kartavya Path and made people dance to their tune.
 
The team members received a red-carpet welcome at Jabalpur Station, on their arrival to Sanskardhani from New Delhi. All the artists, parents and Kadam Mitra were seen dancing. Mayor, Jagat Bahadur, Kadam’s chief patron, Dr. Kailash Gupta, MLA Ashok Rohani, JMC Chairperson, Rinkunj Vij, Opposition Leader, Kamlesh Agarwal, Kadam's choreographer, Dr. Shailendra Pandey, Kadam's founder, Yogesh Ganore have extended their best wishes to all the artists of Kadam.
