Chikle snares 12; Agrawal hits 151 in Navniketan’s win

 

 

 

Shantanu Chikle took 12 wickets in a match as Navniketan Club thrashed Advocate XI by 225 runs in the Guzder League A Division match played at NSSM ground. Shantanu won the man of the match award for the second consecutive match. He took 12 wickets for 91 runs. Batting first, Navniketan scored 362 runs on the strength of Akshay Agarwal’s 151. Aditya Ahuja scored 58 runs.

 

In reply, Advocate XI’s innings ended at 137 runs with Shantanu snaring six wickets for 41 runs. Vaibhav Lande scored 42 and Anuj Lande scored 30 runs. Advocate XI, following-on, managed to score 158 for 9. Shantanu continued with his dream spell and managed another six-wicket haul. Vaibhav Lande scored 37 and Viraj Mundhadha scored 35 runs.
