The election of TJSB Cooperative Bank’s Board of Directors, which has consistently been at the forefront of the urban cooperative banking sector in the country, was held recently. All the directors in this panel were elected unopposed. The term of the Board of Directors is for five years from 2024-25 to 2029-30. Sharad Gangal, Vaibhav Singhvi, Shailendra Khandekar, Ramdas Hegde, Pawan Kumar Maheshwari, Sameer Patankar, Sachin Tatke, Dr Ashwini Bapat, Pournima Ranade, KAVI RCV Seshachalam, and Bhausaheb Gaikwad have been elected unopposed. Sharad Gangal has been elected as the Chairman of the bank, while Vaibhav Singhvi has been elected as the Vice Chairman. The newly elected Chairman Sharad Gangal is a member of the central executive committee of Sahakar Bharati. Sharad Gangal is the head of the Maharashtra State Banking Cell of the organisation. Sharad Gangal, a veteran in the field of human resource development since 1984, has been teaching at he Human Resource school of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and in the Management Development Program of the Stockholm School of Economics. Sharad Gangal had been the Director of TJSB Cooperative Bank from 1997 to 2009. He has successfully managed out various responsibilities as the Director and Chairman of the bank since 2022 Sharad Gangal has an experience in urban cooperative banking and has been reelected as Chairman of TJSB Bank for the second consecutive term.
