In an extraordinary and heartening event held at the PM Shri Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Bhainsmundi, in Magarlod of Dhamtari district, 210 students were honoured across 64 distinct categories for their exceptional talents. The event celebrated not only academic prowess but also values such as discipline, honesty, time management, environmental conservation, and cultural ethics. Awards were distributed for categories such as Best Student, Best Teacher, Best Parent, as well as for unique qualities like time punctuality, obedience, moral values, innovative ideas, Bhagavad Gita recitation, culinary arts, and contributions to yoga, traffic rules awareness, and animal welfare.

Students who had never imagined being recognised were filled with joy and pride at the event. Iteshwari Sahu and Sarita Tandon were awarded as Best Parents, while teachers Kuldeep, Kumudni, Yadram, Harivansh Rathore, and Kameshwar Sahu were honoured as Best Teachers. Social worker and motivational thinker Tumnachand Sahu, who played a pivotal role in organising the event, advocated for the creation of a Students Welfare Fund. He remarked, “If every parent donates just one rupee daily, we can build a brighter future for our students and foster a progressive society. Such participatory initiatives can help bring hidden talents to the forefront and inspire humanity among children.” Principal P S Diwan expressed heartfelt gratitude to parents for their active involvement and highlighted the indispensable need for synergy among students, parents, and teachers. “A school flourishes when parents are supportive,” he said. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, school management committee members, teachers, and students, making it an inspiring step towards fostering young talents.
