City police turned god father to a 10-year-old child, who had a joyous and a memorable birthday that he will remember for his life time. The child Sanchit Arvind Narad, a resident of Wathoda area, left his house on Thursday, around 11 am, without informing anyone.
The police later learnt he was angry as the family did not host celebration for his birthday. The worried parents undertook search thinking that the kid must have gone in the neighbourhood. But as time flew by, the parents got worried and they approached police station around 4 pm.
The cops lodged a complaint and aired the details of Sanchit as they knew the search had to yield concrete results before it got too late. Towards evening, a constable on patrolling spotted Sanchit near Swaminarayan Temple.
The Head Constable Shashikant, Buckle No 375 and constable Shailendra Singh, Buckle No 14068, immediately relayed the information to police station about finding the missing body.
The cops talked to the boy for understanding the reason for leaving the home and Sanchit stated he was upset as at the house, no one seemed interested in hosting celebration for the birthday. A brain wave hit the cops and as the team took the boy to his home, they ordered a cake for Sanchit.
To surprise of Sanchit, the cops presented the cake and the happy lad cut it to the joy of all. The cops of Wathoda Police Station played perfect host as the lad would remember the memorable birthday celebration.
