Students of RTMNU’s Home Science Department decorating stalls and wearing regional attire during the food festival.

Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University’s Post Graduate Department of Home Science organised a food festival under the 3-day workshop on ‘Cultural Diversity and Sensitivity.’.
Dr Raju Hiwase, Registrar RTMNU; Dr Smita Acharya, Director of IQAC; Dr Shalini Lihitkar, Chairperson of the Committee Against Sexual Harassment and Gender Discrimination; Dr Vandana Dhawad, Head of Home Science Department and Convenor of Food Festival; Dr Shubhada Jambhulkar, Joint Convenor; and Dr Prajakta Nande were prominently present.
The food festival was organised with an aim to showcase the food culture of India and around 15 stalls presented several regional delicacies of the country. It also included stalls from RTMNU’s Department of Zoology, Department of Library and Information Science, LAD College, Dharampeth Science College, Sevadal Mahila Mahavidyalaya, and Tirpude Hotel Management Institute.
The students who were managing the stalls also wore attires of different Indian States. The faculty members Meenakshi Surpande, Dr Tulika Khare, Revati Suklikar, Nayana Mahadik, Kalyani Deshmukh, along with non-teaching staff and students, worked hard for the event’s
success.
