The Maharashtra State Government has constituted a high-level committee to formulate a new cooperation policy for the State. The committee will work under the guidance of Union Home Minister and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Vivek Jugade, General Secretary of Maharashtra Pradesh, Sahakar Bharti, has been selected as a member of this committee.
The committee will be chaired by Co-operation Minister Babasaheb Patil. Other members include Minister of State for Co-operation Dr Pankaj Bhoyar, Co-op Commissioner Deepak Tawre, RBI Director Satish Marathe, State Co-operative Bank Administrator Vidyadhar Anaskar, and others.
