horrific road accident occurred late on Thursday night between 2:30 am and 3:00 am in Telibandha police station area of Raipur, resulting in one fatality and two serious injuries.
 
The accident involved an electric scooter (CG 04 NW 3417) carrying three young men, which reportedly collided with a Tata Ace vehicle parked on the roadside. Eyewitnesses suggested that the crash was caused by the scooter’s high speed and subsequent loss of control. The impact The young man who died tragically on the spot was identified as Mahesh Yadav, a resident of Katora Talab, who worked as a pathology lab technician at Jacqueline Pathology Lab.
 
The two seriously injured youths, identified as Yash Sharma and Rupesh Sahu, were immediately rushed to Mekhar Hospital by locals and the police. Both are reported to be in stable condition and are currently undergoing treatment. Mahesh Yadav’s body has been sent to the Mekharara mortuary for a post-mortem examination. The Telibandha police immediately secured the scene and seized the vehicles. Preliminary investigations point to high speed and loss of control as the likely cause of the accident.
 
The police station in charge confirmed that the families of the deceased and injured have been informed. Authorities are now examining CCTV footage and recording statements from nearby residents to determine the exact circumstances of the crash. The tragic death of Mahesh Yadav, described by colleagues as a calm and responsible person, has cast a pall of mourning over the area.
