BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma, reacting to the allegations made by Digvijay Singh, said that the Congress party and its leaders have become irrelevant in Madhya Pradesh. Leaders like Digvijay Singh are making statements to be in the news only.
Digvijay Singh has attempted to mislead people of Madhya Pradesh by making misleading and baseless allegations, but the people of Madhya Pradesh will not be misled by Digvijay Singh and the Congress.
Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh held a press conference and criticised the Madhya Pradesh Government over recent carbide gun incidents. He has accused the State
Government of negligence and questioned its inaction in preventing sale of dangerous items before they caused multiple injuries during Diwali celebrations.
MLA Rameshwar Sharma said that the BJP Government is always committed to public’s interests.
Whether it is the case of contaminated cough syrup in Chhindwara district or the case of carbide guns in Bhopal and other districts of the State, the Government is working on zero-tolerance policy. The BJP Government is taking action against the culprits in a manner that will set an example in other cases as well.
Digvijay Singh has highlighted the fact that the guns were sold openly despite being illegal, with their sale promoted through social media trends. He claimed that officials turned a blind eye while the weapons were freely available in markets.
He questioned why a ban was enforced only after numerous children were severely injured, with some losing their eyesight permanently.
Targeting on the Opposition, he said those who ordered firing on innocent farmers are talking about sensitivity today. Digvijay Singh is the same leader whose tenure as Chief Minister shook the foundation of the Madhya Pradesh Health Department due to corruption and mismanagement.
Digvijay Singh, who ordered firing on farmers gathered in Multai, Betul district, to press their legitimate demands, is now talking about sensitivity.
Words like morality and sensitivity do not befit the Congress Party and its leaders, who have disregarded morality and are spreading the politics of nepotism and cronyism in the country and Madhya Pradesh.
The double-engine Government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre and Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, is working to develop public health plans. People of the State have termed Digvijay Singh “Mr Bantadhal (to play spoilsport),” and he is now making baseless allegations against the sensitive BJP government of Madhya Pradesh.
