CM gets grand welcome; graces several events

 

 

 

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav was accorded a rousing welcoming by party leaders and supporters on Sunday afternoon. Upon his arrival at Dumna Airport around 4.30 pm, State Public Works Department Minister Rakesh Singh along with senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and party workers received him. From the airport, the Chief Minister proceeded to Civil Lines, where he led a 200-metre-long roadshow from the Collector’s Bungalow to Mahakoshal College. The roadshow witnessed enthusiastic participation from party workers and citizens, with PWD Minister Rakesh Singh, MLA Ashok Rohani, MLA Abhilash Pandey, BJP City President Ratnesh Sonkar, Rural President Rajkumar Patel accompanying him throughout the route.

 

Following the roadshow, Dr Yadav laid the foundation stone and performed bhoomipujan for the newly constructed building of the Prime Minister College of Excellence at Government Mahakoshal College, Civil Lines. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted the state government’s commitment to improving higher education infrastructure and providing world-class facilities to students. Later, CM Dr Yadav attended the Rotary International Award Ceremony at Hotel Vijan Mahal, where he interacted with members of the organization and other dignitaries. He also felicitated people for their exceptional work for the welfare of the society.

 

In the evening, the Chief Minister chaired a meeting with public representatives at Hotel Kalchuri, followed by a divisional review meeting held at the Collectorate’s conference hall. Senior administrative and police officials, including Divisional Commissioner, IG, DIG, Collector, SP, Municipal Commissioner along with other senior officials were present during the review meeting. After concluding the series of events, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav departed for Bhopal by air around 9 pm.
