Under the Cyber Aware Bharat Campaign, Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MP Transco) organised an online Cyber Quiz as part of Cyber Security Awareness Month. Employees from across the state actively participated in the event. The quiz was based on the “Cybercrime Prevention Guide” that had earlier been shared across MP Transco’s official social media groups. The success of this initiative was evident from the enthusiastic participation received even from employees posted at remotely located transmission line maintenance headquarters and substations across the state.

 

Dr Himanshu Srivastava, the coordinator of the quiz, informed that officers and employees from various offices of MP Transco throughout Madhya Pradesh took part with great enthusiasm. The objective was to raise awareness about cyber security among employees and encourage them to adopt safe digital practices in their professional activities. The online quiz was technically conducted by Praveen Shukla, Programmer, IT Cell. In the online quiz, Executive Engineer Anju Nikhare, posted at Jabalpur, secured the first position by correctly answering all the questions in the shortest time. Sagar Mahajan, Junior Engineer from the 132 kV Substation, Pandhana (Khandwa), and Pritam Bhapkar from the 132 kV Substation, Chambal (Bhopal), secured second and third positions respectively. Managing Director of MP Transco congratulated all the winners on their achievement in the Cyber Quiz.
