AIIMS Bhopal marked a significant moment during the National Rozgar Mela as 26 selected candidates received appointment letters for various positions at the institute. The event was part of a nationwide initiative, where over 51,000 youth across India were offered government jobs, bringing festive cheer and employment opportunities during Diwali.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Rozgar Mela via video-conferencing, emphasising the importance of these appointments as more than just jobs, they are avenues for contributing to nation-building. He encouraged the new recruits to serve with sincerity, uphold the spirit of ‘Nagarik Devo Bhava’, and work towards creating better systems for the future of India. Representing AIIMS Bhopal as the Nodal Officer was Gyanendra Bhushan Prasad, Administrative Officer. The ceremony was further dignified by the presence of prominent leaders including Alok Sharma, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Rameshwar Sharma and Bhagwandas Sabnani, Members of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai.
