Congress star campaigners list includes Jitu Patwari and Digvijay Singh  
 
High voltage Bihar elections around the corner and both the prominent political parties from the State, the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party have asked their prominent leaders to enter in to the campaign trail in support of their party candidates. The BJP is relying more on Madhya Pradesh leaders as compared to Congress party. Congress includes only two leaders from the State among 40 Star Campaigners. State Congress President and close aide of Rahul Gandhi, Jitu Patwari and veteran Congress leader Digvijay Singh are among the top campaigners from Madhya Pradesh. From State, several BJP leaders are in demand and already on campaign spree including State Organisational Secretary Hitanand Sharma and Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav.
 
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan are among the star campaigners. Ten days ago, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released the list of its leaders for the elections featuring a dozen party functionaries, MPs and MLAs are from Madhya Pradesh. Grand old party has given significant responsibilities to a few prominent leaders and other are likely to get assignment in couple of days. While state BJP in-charge Mahendra Singh and Regional Organisational General Secretary Ajay Jamwal already having meetings at several constituencies while former minister Narottam Mishra, Khajuraho MP VD Sharma, Cabinet Minister for Youth Affairs Vishwas Sarang and former minister for co-operatives Arvind Bhadoriya are aggressively engaged in election management duties.
 
The Bihar polls will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11, and results will be announced on November 14. VD Sharma is looking after 22 Assembly seats in the Munger and Begusarai Lok Sabha seats. The Congress has intensified its strategic preparations for the Bihar Assembly elections. There is widespread talk of sending several senior and influential leaders of the Madhya Pradesh Congress to Bihar, whose role is considered crucial in strengthening the organisation. Apart from Jitu Patwari and senior Leader Digvijay Singh, other leaders former Minister Kamleshwar Patel, former Union Minister Arun Yadav, former Minister Sachin Yadav, Leader of the Opposition Umang Singhar, former Minister Omkar Markam, and MLA Arif Masood are likely to get crucial role to energies grassroot workers in poll bound state. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Kanhaiya Kumar and Independent MP Pappu Yadav are among the party’s 40 star campaigners for the first phase of the Bihar assembly polls. But from Madhya Pradesh only two leaders name are among Star Campaigners.
