Prafull Foundation’s ‘Gulistaan’ evening weaves magic with poetry

 

The Sunday evening at ‘Gulistaan, The Poetry Event’ was filled with soulful verses, emotions, and applause as Sonu Patil recited, “Insaan banne se hai kitna aasaan, Hindu hona ya Musalmaan hona,” leaving the audience mesmerised. Organised jointly by the Prafull Foundation and Team Sagata, the event celebrated poetic expression, linguistic beauty, and creative thought.

 

Chief guest Major Dr Shreya Gupta and senior journalist S N Vinod encouraged all the poets for their moving recitations. Poets from Maharashtra and other states, including Ali Haider, Kunal Danish, Saqib Junedi, Shadab Anjum, Sajid Safdar, Tanoj Dadhich, Kartik Bhalerao, Bhuvan Singh, Shivam Soni, Sajal Srivastava, and Arsh Sultanpuri, enchanted listeners with their ghazals and verses. Organisers Madhu Gupta, President, Prafull Foundation, and Sonu Patil, Director, Team Sagata, not only curated the event meticulously but also impressed the audience with their own evocative poetry.
