The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s annual national executive meeting began in Jabalpur on Thursday, with a functionary saying that the three-day event will focus on organising nationwide Hindu conferences. Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale inaugurated the meeting at Kachnar City, on Thursday.
Total 407 participants including all six Sah Sarkaryavahs, including Dr Krishnagopal, Mukunda, Arun Kumar, Ramdutt Chakradhar, Alok Kumar and Atul Limaye, along with members of Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini, (Contd from page 1)
Sanghchalaks, Karyavahs, Pracharaks and invited delegates from all 11 Kshetra and 46 Prant are attending the meeting.
The significant meeting was inaugurated by paying floral tributes to Bharat Mata.
Inaugural ceremony followed by paying homage to several prominent personalities who passed away recently, including former Pramukh Sanchalika of Rashtra Sevika Samiti Pramila Tai Medhe, senior Pracharak Madhubhai Kulkarni, former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren, senior Delhi politician Vijay Malhotra, eminent scientist Kasturirangan, former Governor L. Ganesan, lyricist Piyush Pandey, film actors Satish Shah, Pankaj Dheer, comedian Asrani and renowned Assamese musician Zubeen Garg.
Tributes were also paid to Hindu tourists killed in Pahalgam attack, victims of Air India tragedy and those who lost their lives in natural disasters in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Punjab and other parts of the country. The attendees were detailed about the relief and service activities carried out by RSS Swayamsevaks during these natural calamities. The meeting will also issue statements and hold discussions to commemorate 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, 150th birth anniversary of tribal leader Birsa Munda and 150th year of composition of ‘Vande Mataram’.
Discussions will include preparations for centenary year campaigns such as Griha Sampark Abhiyan, Hindu Sammelan, Sadbhaav Baithaks and major public seminars.
The meeting will also review Vijayadashami celebrations and deliberate on the current national situation.
