4-year-old boy crushed to death by car while parking in Pardi

 

 

 

A four-year-old boy lost his life after being hit by a car that was being parked carelessly by its driver late Saturday night in the Pardi police station area. The child was playing on a sand patch near his house when the incident occurred. According to police, the victim, identified as Kanha Rahul Deshmukh (4), was playing on the sand outside his house at Plot No. 94, Sonbaji Nagar, Railway Crossing Road, Bhandara Road, Pardi, when a car hit him.

 

The accused driver, Nilesh Dnyaneshwar Satibavane (35), resident of House No. 95, Sonbaji Nagar, was parking his Hyundai i20 car (MH 43 AW 1256) carelessly without checking his surroundings. The vehicle ran over the child, leaving him seriously injured. He was immediately taken to Bhavani Hospital, Pardi, for treatment, but doctors declared him dead during examination. A case has been registered against the accused driver under Sections 106(1) and 125(B) of the BNS. Further investigation is ongoing.
