An ailing tiger from the Jungle Safari in Raipur district has been sent to Jamnagar, Gujarat, for advanced medical treatment. Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap visited the Jungle Safari to review the preparations before the tiger’s transfer and inquired about its health condition. According to officials, the injured tiger was originally rescued from Indravati National Park in Bijapur district and brought to Raipur’s Jungle Safari for treatment. However, after showing little improvement, it was decided to send the tiger to the Greens Zoological Rescue and Rehabilitation Center in Jamnagar for specialized care.

Experts at the Jamnagar facility will provide intensive treatment to the tiger to ensure its recovery. Sharing details of the development on social media platform X, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap wrote, “Today, preparations were reviewed at the Jungle Safari for sending the ailing tiger to Jamnagar (Gujarat) for treatment. The tiger is being sent to the Greens Zoological Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, Jamnagar, where it will receive expert medical care.”
