GUARDS Regiment Centre (GRC) Kamptee men, and DKM men and women started their Inter-Club Senior District Basketball Championship campaign with wins at NBYS courts in Bajaj Nagar on Tuesday. Sonu (20) and Jay (10) combined well as GRC defeated ABC 67-47 by 20 points. Kislay Rai scored 18 points for the losers. The quarter-wise scores in favour of the winners read 20-10, 11-13, 16-18, 20-6. DKM women were just too good for ESKM recording a facile 50-6 victory.

 

Anaya Prabhune scored 10 points and was well assisted by Rajvi Maladhari who scored 8. ESKM’s Arya Kohale scored 2 points. The quarter-wise scores read 27-2, 11-2, 8-2, 4-0.
