On the occasion of World Remembrance Day for road traffic victims, Traffic and Transportation Division of the Brahma Kumaris organised an awareness programme in memory of those who died in road accidents at Shiv Uphaar Bhawan, Premnagar. The program began with a two-minute silence to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in road accidents. Addressing the program, Brahma Kumari Vimala Didi said that peace of mind is the fundamental foundation of road safety.

When the mind is calm, we become more alert, restrained and responsible. She urged everyone to develop positive thinking and self-awareness in life. Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Jitendra Singh Raghuvanshi elaborated on the importance of traffic rules. He said that even minor negligence can lead to major accidents. Helmets, seatbelts, speed limits, not using mobile phones and following traffic signals, these are all keys to a safe journey. Finally, Brahma Kumari Vinita Didi administered a pledge to all present to adhere to road safety and traffic rules. She said that this pledge is not only for personal safety but also a symbol of social responsibility.

Local citizens and youth enthusiastically participated in the program and pledged to not only drive safely themselves but also inspire others to do so.
