Good response to Rotary-Arneja walkathon
 
Rotary Club of Nagpur successfully organised the 21st edition of Rotary–Arneja Walkathon on Sunday, with an overwhelming participation of over 4000 walkers. Families, students, corporates, senior citizens, Rotaractors, and fitness enthusiasts came together to celebrate health, unity, and social awareness under the theme ‘Walk for Life.’ The event was flagged off by Dr Mohjit and Dr Gurbani Arneja of Arneja Heart Institute, Mr Aspi Bapuna of (Dinshaw’s, Ashish Fadnavis and Rtn Parag Date, President, Rotary Club of Nagpur. Walkers participated in the 3 km, 6 km, and 9 km categories from St Ursula School ground carrying social message placards and showcasing tremendous enthusiasm throughout. A lively Zumba session added high energy and engagement to the morning. A Health Check-up Lounge offering basic screenings further promoted the message of fitness and wellness.
 
The valedictory function was graced by Nagpur Police Commissioner Dr Ravinder Singal, who felicitated the winners and appreciated Rotary’s consistent efforts toward community service and health awareness. The event was organised by Project Director and Vice President Rtn Mahendra Kamath, ably supported by President Elect Rtn Gogi Bhasin and Secretary Rtn Harrshit Jaiin under the guidance of Rtn Shabbir Shakir and Rtn Sanjiv Chugh. More than 100 Rotarians and 150 Rotaractors worked tirelessly for the success of the event.
