Madhya Pradesh continues to reel under a severe cold wave, with several districts experiencing near-freezing temperatures, but residents may notice a slight reprieve as minimum temperatures have risen marginally over the last 24 hours. Bhopal, which recorded a chilling 5.2°C on Monday, has seen its minimum temperature rose to 8.2°C. Similarly, other districts have reported slight increases, though the cold remains intense across the State. Rajgarh remains the coldest district at 5.8°C, while Kalyanpur in Shahdol and Girvar in Shajapur recorded 6.2°C, Pachmarhi 6.4°C, Sehore 7.5°C, and Umaria 7.6°C.

The weather has remained dry across Madhya Pradesh during the past 24 hours, with no rainfall recorded anywhere in the State. Maximum temperatures showed little change, with Vidisha and Narmadapuram hitting 28.8°C, while other regions stayed below normal. Overall, temperatures across Indore and Rewa divisions were appreciably below normal by 3.2–3.3°C, while Bhopal, Ujjain, Gwalior, Chambal, Jabalpur, Shahdol, and Sagar divisions recorded slightly below-normal maximums.

Minimum temperatures were markedly below normal in Bhopal and Indore divisions by 6.1-6.8°C, appreciably below normal in several other divisions, and below normal in Shahdol division. The India Meteorological Department has forecast a slight increase in minimum temperatures by 2-3°C over the next three days, providing marginal relief from the intense cold. Bhopal is expected to see clear skies with morning haze, light winds of 8–10 kmph, and temperatures ranging between 8°C and 26°C over the next 24 hours.

Cold wave conditions continue in Bhopal, Vidisha, Sehore, Dhar, Khandwa, Khargone, Badwani, Rewa, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Chhatarpur, Shivpuri, and Betul districts, while Rajgarh, Indore, and Shajapur face severe cold wave conditions. Authorities advise residents to take precautions such as wearing adequate warm clothing, protecting sensitive body parts, and limiting outdoor exposure. Farmers are urged to safeguard crops and animals from the cold.
