At Datta Meghe Ayurvedic College, Nagpur, renowned ayurveda expert Dr Santosh Suryakant Pusadkar delivered an insightful lecture on the topic ‘The Scope, Opportunities, and Need of Ayurveda in the Modern Era’ as part of the Transitional Curriculum organised for first-year BAMS students. On the occasion, Dr Pusadkar informed the students about various career avenues in Ayurveda, including clinical practice, Panchakarma specialization, research, the pharmaceutical industry, wellness and lifestyle medicine, health tourism, and opportunities in government services. Dr Pusadkar further stated that with the integration of modern technology, Ayurveda is rapidly expanding at the global level, making this a golden era for students entering the field. During this inspiring session, the students participated enthusiastically and raised several queries in the interactive question answer segment.
