With an aim to boost air connectivity and promote tourism in Madhya Pradesh, PM Shri Tourism Helicopter Service officially started operations on Thursday. The service was inaugurated from the world-famous tourist destination Bhedaghat at the hands of Public Works Department Minister Rakesh Singh while MLAs other public representatives and senior officers were present.

With the launch of Tourism Helicopter Service, travelling from Jabalpur to major tourist and pilgrimage destinations Kanha, Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, Maihar, Chitrakoot and Amarkantak is now faster and more convenient. The helicopter service will operate five days a week. The service will be operated by Fly Ola under the supervision of the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation and the MP Tourism Board.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Rakesh Singh said that Mahakaushal is a major tourist hub with immense potential and this initiative will benefit tourists who wish to explore multiple locations in a short time. He added that while travelling by road was time-consuming, the new helicopter service offers a quick and efficient alternative.
