Agrovision events will be held round the year Gadkari

Addressing the gathering at the concluding ceremony of the four-day agriculture exhibition here on Monday, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the Agrovision will now conduct activities throughout the year. He also optimistically shared that possibly next year’s Agrovision will be organized at the new convention centre coming up on the grounds of Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth on Amravati Road. On the dais were Union Minister of State for Agriculture Ashish Jaiswal, film actor Pravin Tarde, Agrovision Organising Secretary Ravi Boratkar, Agrovision Foundation Advisor Dr C D Mayee, Dr Sharad Gadakh of PDKV Akola, MAFSU Vice Chancellor Dr Nitin Patil, and other dignitaries. Nearly 1.25 lakh farmers, along with researchers, producers, companies, and agri-related professionals, participated in the event.
 
On the occasion, Gadkari released the December issue of AgroSpectrum, a B2B monthly publication at the valedictory function of the 16th Agrovision. AgroSpectrum is a B2B magazine of MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications on agriculture and allied sector. Ravi Boratkar, President Agrovision Foundation, Managing Director, MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications is the publisher. The issue publishes the interview of Nitin Gadakari on use of modern technologies like AI, ML and IoT in various sectors of agriculture. The issue also carries the reports of inaugural and other major sessions, including on startups and AI held at the Agrovision event. It also contains informative articles by industry leaders and agri- experts on the topics such as weather agritech, innovations in livestock breeding, remote sensing technology for farming, seed tech and precision farming.
 
It also carries the interview of George Kurian, Minister of State for Minority Affairs and Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying on Marine Fisheries Census 2025.
