Security grid tightened ahead of DGP-IGP Conference ’25

WITH the Capital set to host the DGP–IGP Conference 2025 from November 28 to 30, Chhattisgarh Police has stepped up prepara tions to ensure comprehensive security and smooth movement for VVIPs, VIPs and senior offi cials attending the national-lev el event. A detailed coordination meeting was convened at C-4, Civil Lines, Raipur under the chairmanship of Amit Kumar, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Intelligence, Chhattisgarh Police.
 
During the review, ADGP Amit Kumar examined the multilay ered security arrangements ADGP (Intelligence) Amit Kumar reviewing security arrangements with senior police officers at C-4, Civil Lines, Raipur. planned for the conference and instructed officers to maintain continuous coordination, disci pline and operational readiness throughout the event duration. He emphasised that profession al conduct, courteous behaviour and strong inter-departmental synergy will be crucial for the flawless execution of the arrange ments.
 
Addressing the officers, the ADGP said the primary objec tive is to ensure that every dignitary and conference participant experiences seam less security and unin terrupted assistance across all arrival points, movement corridors, designated venues and accommodation loca tions. He stressed the need for real-time com munication, quick response systems and strict adherence to assigned responsibili ties.
 
The ADGP also invited individual sug gestions from the offi cers and assured that practical, field-level requirements highlighted during the discussion would be suitably inte grated into the operational plan. He instructed all person nel to implement directives with precision and maintain absolute compliance with the instructions issued. The meeting was attended by senior officers including IG Anand Chhabra, IG (Training); IG Ankit Garg, Special Intelligence Branch (SIB), Police Headquarters (PHQ_ Nava Raipur; IG Dhruv Gupta, Crime Investigation Department (CIF) PHQ; IG Dr Sanjay Shukla, Bilaspur Range; DIG M L Kotwani; DIG M R Ahire; DIG Shankarlal Baghel; SSP Raipur Dr Umed Singh; along with all Additional SPs and DSPs of Raipur district.
 
Officials stated that the forthcoming DGP–IGP Conference will witness participation from senior police leadership from across the country, making coordinated and robust security arrangements a top priority. The secu rity grid, movement protocols and district-level prepared ness will be monitored continuously till the conclusion of the conference on November 30.
