A delegation under the leadership of Rina Sinha, President, VED Council has recently submitted a detailed proposal for building a world-class golf course and DPR to Dr Ashishrao Deshmukh, MLA – Saoner, requesting his support in pursuing Vidarbha’s development by following up with the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis. In the meeting, a copy of the proposal and DPR was also submitted to the District Collector, Dr Vipin Itankar. The proposal seeks the development of a world-class, full-fledged 18-hole international championship golf course and an integrated sports country club in Nagpur - a transformative project for the region. Sinha emphasised that Nagpur’s growth trajectory now requires globally benchmarked lifestyle and sports infrastructure to attract higher FDI, and high-value tourism. The DPR outlines the development of Nagpur’s first international golf and sports township.
