Two major weather systems are currently active: Cyclonic Storm ‘Senyar’, located over the Strait of Malacca and parts of northeast Indonesia, has moved west-southwest and is expected to maintain strength until early November 27. It is likely to curve eastward thereafter and weaken gradually. A well-marked low-pressure area persists over the southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka–Equatorial Indian Ocean region.

It is expected to intensify into a depression within 24 hours and move north-northwest toward the North Tamil Nadu–Puducherry coast over the next two days. While these systems are significant, they are not expected to impact Madhya Pradesh directly, and dry weather will continue across all districts. The IMD forecasts clear skies over Bhopal and surrounding areas, with winds blowing at 10–12 kmph.

The city is expected to record a maximum temperature of 27°C and a minimum of 15°C by tomorrow morning. Minimum temperatures are likely to fall by 2–3°C in East Madhya Pradesh over the next 24 hours, while no major change is expected in western parts of the State. Residents are advised to wear warm clothing, avoid prolonged exposure to cold, especially during early mornings and nights, and maintain adequate nutrition to avoid seasonal illnesses such as cold, cough, and flu. Farmers have been advised to continue sowing Rabi crops where sufficient soil moisture is available, apply light irrigation as needed, and avoid burning crop residue. Monitoring of mustard, chickpea, and pea crops for pest and disease outbreaks has also been recommended.
