Central India Security Force (CIS) Delhi, MEG Bangalore, J&K Bank Kashmir and Red Army Bangalore stormed into the semi-finals of the 10th Haji Majid Ahmad Majju Seth All India Gold Cup Football Tournament being played at Military Football Ground in Kamptee.
In their last league match, CISF Delhi edged past MYJ Mumbai by a solitary goal. The all-important goal came in the 90th minute of play through Chandra’s boot.
In the second match of the day, PC Kima scored a fine hat-trick to help MEG Bangalore crush GST Customs, Chennai by four goals to one.
After a calm first half, the Bangalore side fired in four goals to emerge winners.
Kima opened the account in the 57th minute of play but Chennai team drew parity in the 61st minute through Lokesh.
Niyas once again put MEG Bangalore ahead scoring in 64th minute and then Kima scored twice in 86th and 90th minutes to complete the rout.
Semis line-up: CISF Delhi vs J&K Bank Kashmir (12.30 pm); Red Army Bangalore vs MEG Bangalore (2.30 pm).
