IN A major breakthrough,
Madhya Pradesh Narcotics
Department arrested three
accused involved in drugs racket and seized massive amount
of drugs and chemicals (used
in its preparation) worth Rs 3
crore on Friday.
According to the highly
placed sources, 2 kg and 700
grams of MD in solid form and
16 kg in liquid form, over 70 kg
of MD-making chemicals were
seized along with three motorcycles and three mobile
phones.
Three accused named
Niranjan Dayama, resident of
Khedi, Police Station Manasa,
Arjun Garasiya and Ramesh
Garasiya, resident of Lasudia,
Police Station Rampura were
arrested. Overall the cost of the
entire consignment was
around Rs 30 crore valued in
international market. The raid
was conducted in a farm house
located at Lausidia village
under Hastmurar police station in Neemuch district.
Additional Police Inspector
General K P Venkateshwar Rao
and Deputy Police Inspector
General Narcotics Mahesh
Chandra directed the
operation. The action was taken on a tip off received from
informer and the accused were
arrested. Additional Director
General of Police, K P
Venkateshwar Rao, a case has
been registered against the
accused under the NDPS Act
and further action is underway.

operation.

Police, Neemuch, Ankit Jaiswal,
and the Neemuch District
Police Force also played crucial role during the operation.
