MADHYA Pradesh has been experiencing mild winter conditions for the past one week, but this pattern is expected to change in east MP, however, for west MP the same pattern will continue for next five days. In the last 24 hours, day temperatures showed no significant variation and stayed mostly normal, though they remained slightly below normal by 1.5°C to 2.5°C in parts of Gwalior, Rewa, Shahdol and Sagar divisions. Night temperatures dipped sharply in Shahdol division, falling by 4.4°C, while districts in Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Jabalpur and Sagar divisions also recorded a noticeable drop of around 3°C to 3.5°C.
 
Cold mornings continued in several places, with Kalyanpur in Shahdol recording the state’s lowest minimum temperature at 6.1°C, followed by Nowgong at 6.5°C. In contrast, Alirajpur reported the highest minimum at 18.3°C. Day temperatures also showed variation, with Talun (Barwani) being the warmest at 31.6°C, while Amarkantak recorded a cool 23.4°C. Bhopal saw a cool and pleasant day with the maximum temperature at 26.6°C, about 2°C below normal. The minimum temperature settled at 11°C. Morning humidity was 74%, and no rainfall was recorded.
 
The sky remained clear with light haze and calm winds blowing at 8-10 kmph. Similar weather is expected tomorrow with temperatures hovering around 26°C during the day and near 11°C at night, keeping the mild winter feel intact. Weather experts indicate that this calm, mildly cold pattern will continue for the next 24 hours. After that, temperatures may begin to rise slightly in East Madhya Pradesh, while western parts of the state are expected to maintain stable conditions for nearly five days. Dry weather will prevail in all districts.
